THE VICE CRYSTAL SPRINGS 750ML

This is a mighty fine wine from Malek Amrani of The Vice, and the first from the Crystal Springs District of Napa Valley AVA that I have tasted. It is a robust, expressive red boasting ripe black and blue fruits, roasted espresso bean, graphite minerality and dark forest tones. These elements build across the medium-bodied palate, which shows impressive depth of fruit and velvety-textured tannins that grip yet remain suave, carrying through to a lengthy, saline-mineral finish.
